Dan Johnson

Dan joined us in 2013. He came from a management position at Cub Foods, where he worked for 31 years. Dan learned every aspect of that business and worked his way up from stock boy to manager of the store. He understands well how employees and employers have to function in order for a business to succeed. At Newton Financial Solutions, he helps both employers and their employees with 401(k) plans. He also meets with individuals and couples to map a financial plan to guide them to retirement and helps the team with investment decisions. Dan is committed to helping clients create a successful financial plan by offering diverse investment options for every stage of life. He can assist with education and retirement planning, and business planning, especially in the area of business-based retirement plans. Dan brings excellent customer service and a great work ethic to the team.

Dan attended Anoka Ramsey Community College (1984) and St. Cloud State University (1988). Dan currently serves on the Cambridge-Isanti Rotary Club as chairman of the International Committee and treasurer of the club and serves on the council for Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti. Dan holds the FINRA Series 7 securities registration.

Personal
Dan grew up on the family farm east of Isanti, and he enjoys golfing, hunting, curling, and biking. He is married to Kathy and has a daughter and three grandchildren.
